An institutional researcher development framework has been developed to contribute to researcher training and development by providing a strategic institutional action to support the research career development of TU-K researchers.

March 2017 – November 2017	Structured Training for African Researchers (STARS) RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAMME The Technical University of Kenya has been selected to participate in ROUND 3 of the Association of Commonwealth Universities course on strengthening institutional approaches to the professional development of researchers. ROUND 2 of TU-K staff includes the following: Assistant Lecturer or Tutorial Fellow AND registered for PhD study.
